Thrust-I: Sustainable Land & Water Management Systems

• Over the last twenty five years, Democratic action has demonstrated  land and water management measures like massive plantation, conserving hill forests, Conducting land levelling, land development work with special Gully  plugging, bonding and making check dams in terrace areas on slopes, has  improved the  water level on hilly lands and increase soil fertility. ( WATERSHED MANAGEMENT SYSTEM)
• Tapping existing perennial source of spring water for making use of drinking and irrigation facility through gravity management.
• Sensitized people to use excess water of Gravity flow for farming purposes.
• Constructed water harvesting structure, multipurpose water tank & small check dams on Stream to get water deposits increased and used the same water for farming in winter & summer.

• Thrust-II: Recognition and Revitalization of Traditional Culture & Heritage.

• Building Communal Harmony on a campaign mode in all the villages and sensitized the people on legal aspects to keep away from blind beliefs and unlawful acts in particular crimes related to sorcery & love/ inter-caste marriages.
• Introducing reforms to MYTHS & MIS CONCEPTS destroying their own environment and wildlife while encouraging Celebration of traditional culture.
• Sensitized the traditional leaders and traditional healers to get involve in village environment development plans and its management since they are the traditional leaders holding village power brought synergy in work impacts.
• Documentation of all those famous traditions, cultural practices, and festivities, folklores and all other unique events relate to tree, forest and wild life.
• Protection and preservation,of indigenous species and seeds and household appliances.
